Akela: A name given in Cub Scouting for a parent, a leader, or a role model. (In The Jungle-Book story, by Rudyard Kipling, Akela is the leader of the pack).

Advancements: The person responsible for tracking individual achievments and service records. Amy Rivera is our Advancements Chair.

Assistant Cubmaster(s): Assist the Cubmaster with the duties of running the Pack. Our Assistant Cubmaster is Ervin Rivera.

Cubmaster(s): The figurehead and master of ceremonies at pack meetings; the number one Akela! Charles Roberts is the Cubmaster for Pack 412.

Committee: Organizes and supervises all pack activities. In Pack 412, if you are an adult leader you are automatically a committee member. Other non-leader parents are also encouraged to participate in the Committee.

Committee Chairperson: Person in charge of the Pack Committee overseeing all aspects of pack operation. Jennifer Koryta does this for Pack 412.

Chartered Organization: Each Cub Scout Pack is sponsored by some organization which provides support and often times financial assistance. Our chartered organization is Huntsville Christian Church.

Chartered Organization Representative: A liaison between The Church and Pack 412; assigned by The Church. Kenny Watts is our Charter Org. Rep.

Commissioner: A Council representative (not a member of the pack) who gives advice and provides organizational assistance to the pack. A "friend of Scouters".

Den Leader: An adult in charge of a den; responsible for organizing regular den meetings and presenting the Cub Scout program to the boys. Den Leaders are our most valued adult leaders.

Assistant Den Leader: Adult leader who assists the den leader in fulfilling his or her responsibilities.

Den Chief: An older Boy Scout from a local Boy Scout Troop who assists the adult leaders and helps lead the den.

Denner: One of the Cubs Scouts elected by his den to help the den leader and den chief.

Treasurer: Is responsible for keeping records of our accounts, the money we collect and the money we disperse. Doug Beeson is our treasurer.
